CompTIA A+ Is the Industry Standard for Establishing a Career in IT.
Performance testing demonstrates that experts are nimble enough to handle crucial IT support duties.
The CompTIA A+ certification designates the preferred candidate for technical assistance and end point management positions.
Compared to other IT credentials, CompTIA A+ is listed in more tech support job postings.
Candidates for the CompTIA A+ Core Series must pass the Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102) tests, which include the following new material and highlight the technologies and abilities IT professionals need to support a hybrid workforce:
- A greater dependence on SaaS applications for working remotely
- How to remotely identify and fix common issues with hardware, software, or connectivity
- Core technologies are evolving, ranging from data management and scripting to cloud virtualization and IoT device security.
- When to utilize different operating systems and how to maintain their functionality
- Reflects how the job is evolving and how to determine whether something should be fixed on-site or sent to a specialist.
The U.S. Department of Defense has authorized CompTIA A+ to satisfy Directive 8140.03M requirements and it complies with ISO 17024 standards. Because ANSI accreditation instills confidence and trust in the results of an accredited program, regulators and governments depend on it. Since January 1, 2011, more than 3 million CompTIA ISO/ANSI-accredited tests have been distributed.
